His idea of numbing me up was to rapid fire lidocaine into me over and over which is incredibly painful. At one point, he even used his fist to pound it in. When I told him to slow down he said "we surgeons are always in a hurry." He and his assistant (who had never done it before) took turns using a hammer to pound screws into my jaw while i was awake and didn't even tell me he was going to first. He kept telling her to hammer harder and I was afraid my jaw would break. I felt like I was being tortured. My jaw swelled up twice the normal size and he mentioned it and chuckled. I got a raging infection and was in severe pain for over a month. The implant failed and had to be removed. He tried again for free and failed. Right after his last procedure on me I got permanent tinnitus in my right ear. He drilled out too much bone so I cannot get another implant put in without extensive and very expensive surgery.
