Dr. Charles McBrayer, DDS

1. Dr. McBrayer owns North River Perio. He charges more than double what other places charge to do implants.2. North River Perio claims they accept dental insurance, but it's a scam. Insurance companies negotiate reduced rates. For example, a company like Cigna might only need to pay $800 for a $1400 procedure. For that reason, North River Perio prefers patients to pay out of pocket instead of using their dental insurance. To that end, as soon as your procedure is done, while you are still woozy and seeing stars, they will hustle you into a room and threaten you with a collection agency for the full amount before your insurance company has even been billed. 3. Dr. McBrayer's staff could not hold down jobs at Waffle House. They completely lack basic human empathy. I came in because I had developed a dry socket after McBrayer pulled a tooth and did a bone graft. I was suffering. His staff wouldn't even look at it. I had to get my regular dentist to treat it.

OUTSTANDING experience. I am very difficult to numb and the staff took that into account. I had a wisdom tooth and another difficult tooth removed and did NOT feel a thing. Dr. McBrayer has restored my faith in the dental practice. Highly recommend to anyone. The staff was exceptional and very friendly.
