Everyone was very nice.

Dr. F. has done virtually no exam of my teeth in 1 ½ years I have gone to him, and I am in the process of changing dentists. He said that I have a cavity but has not checked it in one year. He relies solely on his hygienist to identify any issues for him to confirm – if they miss anything such as an early oral cancer, it remains unidentified. Despite having never looking into my mouth more than a brief sweep with his small mirror, he once charged Medicare for a comprehensive dental exam, which involves examining much more than a minimal standard exam during a cleaning, which he has never even conducted. He was not reimbursed because not enough time had passed since another dentist had conducted one, and then sent me a bill which I refused to pay. Every visit he tells me that he cannot wait to retire, making it clear that he does not to be working. I am currently searching for a new dentist. A retired dentist friend of mine told me that he is known to see 50 patients a day. Well, it shows. He clearly wants to pad his pockets with money with the least amount of effort.
