Dr Poveda is nice dentist she gave me confidence I will make her my primary dentist she is honest person she explains to me she doesn't judge she has good bedside manners

Dishonest practices
After switching to a different dentist because the receptionist (Jen) was constantly nasty and had a bad attitude… I learned today that even thought Dr Proveda had scheduled me to fill one (last) cavity, my new ex rays at the new dentist showed that I didn’t have any cavities! I had several cavities and crowns done by Dr Proveda! Can’t understand why she was dishonest at the end of my treatment.

Rude front desk & Dishonest Dr.
Be very caareful with this dentist (as a matter of fact, keep looking of a better one), she talks a good talk and seems friendly, but that is how she gets aways with misleading and lying to the patience and insurance companies. I had a horrible experience with her.

The staff there is very unprofessional rude and scream at you. My experience wasn't a good one. Never again.

Not professional
Her front desk is extremely rude. Whenever you call they yell at you and hang up on you. Dr. Poveda always does a rush job. You schedule a set appointment and she doesn’t see you until 2 to 3 hours later and then wants to rush you out the office because she wants to go home. She also leaves in between a procedure to go move her car or put money in the meter.

Horrible experience
Initial Cleaning visit, in the middle of the cleaning the Dr. left the office to go move her car. Second Visit - Waited over an hour and still had not been serviced. Will never go here again

shambolic practice
Front desk is rude, they hung up on me twice today, that is after scheduling my visit for the wrong teeth. One can excuse lack of experience, attention to detail but not egregious customer service.

I agree that the cleanings are not very thorough, and my last one was done by Dr Poveda herself instead of a dental hygienist which I found strange and it's also probably why the cleaning was quite rushed.

Her workers is whats tearing this place down her workers are busy breaking in the neighborhood to do there job and then getting themselves involved in project business instead of working at there job

When someone call to the office the staff always said Dr Poveda do not accept that insurance so if you require which insurance does she accept. They said I don’t have the list at that moment. They do not try to help , they re so sharp. Never give a solution they are so rude. I have known Dr Poveda since 2002. She is a nice doctor and so friendly but her staff doesn’t.

High praise. She loves what she does. It is a busy office and the staff is great. Just made a major recommendation to a friend. I had a lot of work done and my insurance covered the whole thing. The Dr is A1.

The worst wait time!!! She very nice but talks too much about nothing with her patients which makes he LATE for her other patients!

Dr. POVEDA did work on my teeth.. she did two crowns right next to each other, unfortunately, they were not done close enough. So, now I have constant pain and always after each meal or eating in general I have to floss. She won't correct her mistake, and other doctors won't touch her work, very frustrating, let her tell it ,it's my fault, ugh. Doctors can do hundreds if procedures, there will always be at least one " screw up", it happens..., wish she understood,sad
