I was recently back in Dr. Schlissel's care after being out of the area. I am so glad to be back. She truly cares about her patients and it shows in so many different ways. She won't do anything she believes is not in the best interest of her patients. And unlike the guy I saw elsewhere, she's not a "salesman." (Thank goodness!)

I recently had some routine fillings done but left in a lot of pain. She does not have a gentle touch. I went back for her to look at it but all she would recommend was taking Advil. I had trouble eating for quite some time and still have sensitivity in that area that I have just learned to live with.

I have always been afraid of dentists, but Dr. Carla puts me at ease. She's very caring and understanding. When she thinks something might be uncomfortable, she apologizes. Her exams include a head and neck cancer check, which I appreciate. She has a great staff who she refers to as her "team".
