The dentist did not show any sign of care, concern, or empathy. She did not acknowledge whether pain was appropriate and when she may have made a mistake that caused additional pain. The dentist and the hygienist whispered outside my chair area, causing me to question their work even more. The dental assistant showed a great (suspicious) amount of concern for my experience, which led me to believe she was trying to compensate for the dentist’s lack of care. In general, the dentist does not like when the patient asks questions about treatment. The dentists in the office do not see one another’s patients but claim they treat as a team.
