I called before changing the dentist on my HMO plan to Dr Smith, to find out if they take payments (because the procedure I will likely need will most likely be very pricey.) I was told they take payments, and take my insurance, so I proceeded with having the dentist on my insurance changed to Dr Smith. I called to make an appt. and the woman who answered (a different woman than whom I previously spoke with) was EXTREMELY rude and basically called me a liar about being told they take payments.
