Dr. Brian Mantor, DMD

I came to Doctor Mantor through a recommendation. My needs were pretty extensive and complicated. Dr. Mentor talked with me explaining all that I needed and all that he could do for me. I was with him for one year and one year later words can not express the gratitude I have for his work, and his concern and care. All I could say was "Thank you, for your expertise and skills, that made what I was told would probably not be able to be done, to do it." Dr. Mentor is my recommendation for as long as he is practicing.

Dr. Mantor and his staff are the best. I had to get some bone graft work done on two teeth, and it went flawless; surgery went excellent, followed by post-surgery treatment, and I never experienced any pain. Two dentists highly recommended Dr. Mantor, and I was not disappointed in any way. If you need a great Periodontist, I recommend 100%.

The issue with this doctor is not his technical expertise, but his very poor skills with his patient. My wife was very apprehensive about her procedure, and instead of reassuring and calming her, she was pressured to decide on treatment very quickly. My wife is not a native English speaker, so instead of taking the time to slowly and simply explain the procedures, they were impatient. The assistants abruptly positioned her, not taking the time to ask her to move where she was needed. She said she felt manhandled. They spoke to her in a derisive manner. When she needed an x-ray, the protective vest was thrown on her and not gently placed. At the end of a treatment, they did not remove her bib, but required that she remove it herself. The procedures she did have were successful, but all she remembers is being poorly treated, not the eventual outcome. This was no way treat a patient. We will never use this practice again.

I HAVE referred both friends and family to Dr. Mantor after he worked on my teeth. I cannot imagine a better person to do your dental work. He is both personable and professional, and has an attention to detail that was much appreciated.
