This is only the 2nd review I have ever written but I feel it necessary. I had been a patient of Dr. Adams for over 2 years with no complaints. In fact, this review is not about the treatment provided but about poor customer service. After my recent visit, I received an invoice for a cleaning. My dental benefit included 2 cleanings paid at 100% if the provider you selected was in the "network" for Delta Dental. Dr. Adams had been in the network prior to this appointment but as I found out when I received his invoice about a month later, he is not anymore. No one from Dr. Adams office notified me of this prior to. I did, however, receive a text reminding me of the appointment. Only when I contacted my dental provider, Delta Dental, was I was told of this change. I feel it would be at the very least a common courtesy to tell the patient prior to an appointment if he is within or not within your provider's network instead of finding out when you get his invoice.

What an unbelievably caring experience my family has had with Dr. Adams! My father needed extensive dental care after suddenly receiving a diagnosis of Oral cancer this year. The financial blow of so many medical bills was becoming overwhelming. Dr. Adams (and his staff of incredible gentle human beings ) put my father at ease with his gentle, positive approach and worked with him to make it financially possible to take the BEST possible care of himself and beat the cancer. It felt like family.
