Dr. Ben Jernigan Jr, DMD

I’ve been a patient for about 20 years and my husband too. I have had an absolute terror about any dental work all my life. He started me on Nitris. He is sooo gentle, honest and trustworthy I don’t even need it anymore. He’s the very best dentist anywhere. I actually look forward to my appointments. He sees the problem and has never been wrong about what needs to be done. He’s even careful about your pocketbook and only fixes what NEEDS to be fixed and charges less than any other dentist. He’s absolutely amazing! He cares about his patients and treats you with respect and caring.

Dr. J has been my dentist since I was 12 years old. I'm 50 now. I'm not even sure how that's mathematically possible, but he was apparently the youngest dentist in the state when he started. To my knowledge, he is not accepting new patients, as he is gearing up for retirement. I don't know what I'm going to do when he retires. I've never had to shop for a dentist before! I had a cavity when I first went to see him (at age 12). He filled it & sealed my molars, and I've never had a cavity since. He doesn't believe in unnecessary cosmetic dentistry: if it isn't for your health, he doesn't like to do it. That means he also won't "suggest" or "upsale" treatments that you don't need. I can't remember when Jackie started, but she's been my primary hygienest for the last umpteen years. She's SOOO gentle! Seriously - what am I going to do when they retire? Dr. J has seen my parents & my brother all these years. My mom still drives down from Flowery Branch 2x/year for her visits. "Looks good!"

Excellence, professionalism, caring, friendly, expertise, fantastic Staff and mostly HONESTY!

The woman at the front desk is extremely rude! Apparently she has been there 30 years and every (miserable?) year of it shows. I will never return and I will not recommend this practice to anyone due to the front desk staff. The first person to come in contact with in a professional setting should represent the practice. Enough said.
