Dr. Barry Uldrikson, DDS

I have never liked going to dentist appointments, put it off as long as possible. I had a tooth break off and his office was very accommodating, had me come in the very next day. The root was still there and he assured me he would fix a new tooth there, he did and it looks like my original tooth. The staff is so very friendly and helpful, the assistant seems to know what the dentist needed almost before he asks for it. Doctor doesn’t talk much, but I wasn’t there for a new friend …. More importantly there for the exceptional dental work. I would refer this dentist to anyone that has had bad experiences before. He is so gentle and professional I wish I had been to him years ago!

Great experience, 15 year later and my fillings are still protecting my teeth! Awesome, dentist.

Worst dentist experience ever. Went in for a simple cleaning, and all was great till Dr. Uldrickson came in for the evaluation...40 minutes later. He shoved freshly sterilized and burning tools in my mouth, talked crap, and then announced I needed a cleaning and would be good. I already had a cleaning! I then battled them for for months to fix my bill, for the heinous cleaning that my insurance covers 100%. It took months to get it fixed! On top of that Dr. Uldrickson recommended a procedure that was unnecessary, per my new dentist and likely would have just been money in his pocket.

Reminder to all Riata haters!!!! Slander is illegal so if you're leaving negative feedback and lying in the process then yes it's immoral and illegal.

Less then one star. Long story short....he came up behind me and shoved the instrument in my mouth. Didn't talk to me let alone introduce himself. I needed bone fragments removed from my gum. He didn't give the 6 shots of novacaine to work...and one shot of Demerol in my gum!! He didn't care if he was hurting me.....and threw done his instruments and walked out every time I yelled in pain. 5 hours later and a swollen jaw I left there a total mess. Avoid this "dentist" at all costs.

they said my insur would pay which didn't happen paid most my bill then got a bill for 217.90 now they say I owe 305.90 they are rip offs

I never had so much trouble getting a procedure approved. They told me one thing my insurance another. Both blamed each other and I blame Dr. Uldrikson's staff. If you're going to force your patients to watch TV then how about not making them watch the most biased network ever? How about spending even 60 seconds with your patients other than the time you are torturing them? How about having you and your staff refrain from profanity and threatening patients from the other room? Horrible!

We went in to have dentures made. Paid cash up front. The dentures looked like Steve Harvey teeth and the Vertical Dimension was off by almost 3/4 of an inch. When confronted the dentist felt as though he had done no wrong. I had to take matters to the AZ Dental Association for a fight against Barry Uldrikson which lasted pretty much two years. When it was all said and done he ended up having to reimburse me. I then was able to go get dentures elsewhere which looked great and fit great.

Staff is great, dentist not so much. over 3 months for dentures, Cost outrageous. Told to get reline in Jan after 2 mo. of having dentures and then being charged another $600.00 for the poor fit. Every time another charge. Have told friends not to use this place. Reline should not have any cost due to poor fit.
