Dr. Artin Sakhaee, DDS

I remember going there a number of years ago. During that time, it appeared to me that he was highly recommended, therefore I am not surprised that his sparkling reviews have dwindled. This "medical professional" sat me on his chair and then hammered at my crown which I found incredibly creepy. In response to my reaction, he smiled/laughed I remember. Then he proceeded to tell me that I would need my whole molar removed -- which I found ridiculous! Went for a second opinion at completely different dentist office w/ Doctor Becker in Jackson Heights and it was NIGHT and DAY. Dr. Backer was in no way trying to swindle me while this individual was. Mr. Backer was kind and welcoming, this guy WAS NOT. This guy looked at my moral for no more than a few minutes. I had commuted an hour plus to speak with someone that is a salesman not a medical professional.

Good at cleaning teeth, too much upselling and when he cant get it, hes not interested anymore.

I went for a visit (corona), the office was chaotic, the xray tech was too busy talking with her co worker about some gossip, why trying to take my xrays in a rushed fashion, I had to tell her to adjust the angles twice. Now for the dentist, he wasn't terrible, but tried to sell me on a crown for an easy filling. Once he realized he wasn't getting the crown he sent in his finance girl to sell me on an implant (I would need an extraction on another tooth). I told her that is above my budget at the time. I asked her about a filling for a small hole in my molar (the one he wanted a crown for) and she said "he's the head dentist here, he does implants not regular dentistry and I would have to make another appointment with a different dentist in the practice. Funny on all websites it states he does dentistry. So I told her well I took a day off from work can he at least do the cleaning? She said yes. The only reason I give 2 stars and not 1 is he did a decent job with cleaning. They want $.

Amazing office, Dr. Sakhaee is very patient and caring never had any problem with his dental work The office staff are very nice and helpful as well Definitely recommending him to my family and friends

They Don’t care about patients, overbook people for treatment.

I had work done for cleanings, x-rays, fillings & crownings. Dr Sakhaee is very knowledgable and professional. He is very kind and patient, clearly explains everything before he does it and makes sure the patient is comfortable (with no pain) at all times. ALL the assistants have excellent bedside manners, are helpful, gentle and proficient in everything. The receptionists is always very polite. The office is always clean and has a strong, positive, welcoming vibe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR SAKHAEE!!
