Dr. Arnold McClain, DDS

Dr. McClain and staff are exceptional. They put you at ease immediately. I’m not a fan of having my teeth worked on, but his approach and care make it so much easier to tolerate. In addition, both of my children have had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. McClain, and they were amazed by how easy it went. He also went to great efforts to see they were healing well. These experiences have allowed me to view dental visits in a whole new way!!

GREAT STAFF GREAT GUY EASY TO CONVERSE WITH!! He answered all my questions made me feel at ease about my upcoming procedure. I was extremely nervous about having this done I was given meds to relaxe me. It was so painful with 4-6 shots in my mouth that I started crying. I thought maybe I would get some laughing gas to put me out since he knew how nervous I was. At the end I heard someone say “that’ll be $1000”. No paperwork to take home, maybe extra gauze, no follow up call to see how I was doing with all that bleeding. My appt was at 11. It’s Tuesday that was on Friday. I called at the end of Monday left a message, Is there a follow up appt? Crickets. On Friday there was no paperwork, no kind of email to let me know what to expect afterwards, what I could eat or not eat, drink or not drink, mouthwash, warm salt water etc? No follow up at all. I really don’t know how to rate this. I paid my bill walked out of the office, that was that! We were surprised and taken back…

He's a really great guy and makes you feel really at ease. He does great work and the office has a great relaxing atmosphere.

I have seen Dr McClain in the past and was very pleased with his skill's and attitude to his patients. However, I have called his office on July 11 and July 17 to schedule an appointment, left a message but have not had the courtesy of a callback. His staff leaves something to be desired.

Simply amazing. I could go on and on about how good Dr. Todd is. His staff is excellent he is very attentive very thorough and will do whatever he needs to do to make sure your experience is a good one. He performed a very difficult graft surgery that turned out remarkable. Simply phenomenal.

During my first meeting with Dr.McClain he engaged in conversation about me and my family totally putting me at ease in preparation for my first ever extraction. He remained concerned about my comfort during the procedure asking several times "how are you doing?" The hour long drive from my home to Durham was definitely worth it!

Excellent Dr and always asking about how you and family doing
