Made me comfortable
Had two fillings, plus finish filling from a previous root canal. All completed in less time than my former dentist in Cary would take for one filling. Dr. Mylander used his hands expertly, unlike some other dentists who have treated me. I work with my hands on tiny projects, often under a microscope, so I can recognize when someone else is capable in this regard.

While they say they accommodate patients with anxiety obviously that is NOT true and not those with a mental health debilitating anxiety disorder. I was labeled and dismissed in 15 minutes. Leaving me to note this WARNING for patients who DO HAVE high anxiety. I hope no one is left in tears after their appt and have their day ruined and made to feel less than as I was. Having the 1 xray was easy as your staff said off the cuff. Anxiety disorder is a daily struggle just to get to the appointment and starts weeks prior to making a phone call and is regardless of what is being done. I was told $29 for xray over the phone no insurance and at payment it was $201 and Dr Mylander never looked in my mouth... Just passed me over with a quick response for extraction to see an oral surgeon (who I have now met with and out the door cost for extraction is $428). I reached out twice now and have had no response to my email sent to him addressing my concerns about my appt and overall handling. SAD

Hate to post negative comments but feel necessary, I underwent about $ 7000.00 worth of care under Dr.Mylander only to learn 1 year later I did not have the bone structure to support the work he had done. He referred me to a periodontist after he did the work. The periodontist stated he had to have known this at the time all this work was done... Money hungry, not about the patient

As a person with a life-long fear of dentistry, I knew I had to try sedation dentistry or start losing my teeth. Dr. Mylander consulted with me about the procedures ahead of time and put me completely at ease. I felt like I was the only person with this problem, but evidently not. All went smoothly and I am very happy with the results and the fact I have found a dentist I can trust for the future.
