Dr. Andrew Brown, DMD

He is the absolute best. Always takes care of my needs completely and without hesitation. He is professional, caring, and a top tier dentist. And in all my years going to him, he’s never caused me any pain and only eliminated it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brown since he began his practice in Avoca. He is highly qualified, has a great personality, and is always looking out for his patients’ dental health. If anyone in the Scranton area is looking for a dentist, he’s one of the best there is in this area!

I went to Dr. Brown since childhood. He and his staff have always been very nice and they make every effort to accommodate their patients! I have zero concerns about his bedside manner, but I have doubts about his competency. When I moved outside of NEPA, my new dentist said I had been 'neglected' and that obvious cavities weren't treated. Additionally, my X-rays apparently showed clear signs of acid reflux and teeth grinding which were also missed. Now I'm stuck with expensive treatments for preventable problems, despite brushing and flossing religiously. Similarly, a lot of my family goes to Dr. Brown, and it's common for his treatments to fail, requiring them to return for expensive adjustments.

I’ve been going to Dr. Brown since I was a kid. I’ve since moved out of the area and across the country. I have tried to find a new dentist but continuously find dentists who are untrustworthy and money hungry. I literally fly across the country to see Dr. Brown because he is the best dentist ever. Never tries to push extra services and is extremely kind and trustworthy. Thanks Dr. Brown!

Dr. Brown is a phenomenal dentist! The dental assistant and hygienists are amazing and very sweet! You can tell they care not only about your teeth but about your whole self as well. Dr. Brown takes his time to learn about his patients, helps to educate them, and has a very calming presence. I have been going to see Dr. Brown for over 20 years and have nothing but good things to say!

I went to Dr.Brown for as long as I could remember,I thought he was a fantastic dentist.As the years went on I started to like him less and less.Seems like he was trying to rush my appointments,would wait on doing dental work that I needed.Wouldnt give me an antibiotic when he pulled my first tooth,I did everything he said still got infected & waited to prescribe me an antibiotic. 2nd tooth I got pulled I reminded him about the last time I had a tooth pulled and refused to give me an antibiotic.
