Dr. Ali Shojania, DDS

Dr Ali Shojania is the most professional Dentist , he told me what to expect step by step so i would under stand all he was doing, it made it so much easier for me .the only pain was the shot and he was good at that. i give Dr Shojania a 5 star review.

Money hungry practice. Even his receptionist is in on it. He pulled a healthy molar that only needed a crown and put in a dental implant which has now failed and I am set to have surgery to have it removed. Also another tooth he worked on has to be pulled since it can't be root canaled now. Once when I decided to see a different dentist, his office gave the new dental office a hard time about sending over MY medical records. Super unprofessional. His online reviews used to be horrific but it looks like they cleaned it up in recent years. Would not be shocked if the positive reviews were mostly fake.

Dr. Shojania was not only unprofessional but appears to be committing fraud. Avoid this dentist. He is not honest. I attended a routine dental exam performed by Dr. Ali Shojania in San Diego, California. He stated I needed 3 crowns to be performed and thanked me for helping keep his son in college. I found this very unprofessional. I received a second opinion by another dentist and was told I did not need any work done. Go to someone else.

I had an emergency during Covid-19 one of my front veneer came off, not broken or anything. found Dr. Shojania and set up the appointment for the next day, I go in with all the covid 19precautions, Dr. Shojania explain to me that no one in his office was working and that was the reason that he wanted cash $275.00 but he stated that when his employees came back after covid 19 restrictions that I could call them for them to bill my Delta Dental PPO insurance. I call Dr. Shojaina office today and a lady by the name of Zara stated that in order for her to bill my insurance that they will charge a lot more then $275.00 and that what ever the insurance paid the office was going to keep on top of my $275.00 cash. I told her if you don't want to bill my insurance then please give me at least an invoice so I can bill the insurance directly, she stated a straight no I cannot do that.
