Dr. Alexander Kanevsky, DDS

He filed a false claim with my insurance company. Billed for the services that were never provided by him and on the date I wasn’t even there. The lady that works at the front desk has a nasty attitude. Avoid at all cost.

Came to dentist to extract tooth for bone grafting, which will be done by another dentist. Although it is not ethical, I understand a reason why Mr. Kanevsky didn’t tell me, that extraction and bone grafting should be done simultaneously by the same dentist. He didn’t want to lose extraction fee. But during extraction dr. Kanevsky broke my new crown on another tooth which was part of the dental bridge and didn’t tell me. I found out about it only after anesthesia was gone. Initially he venomously denied it. And only after I told him a have a picture taken before and after extraction, he reluctantly admitted it. Dr. Kanevsky is not only very low-quality practitioner, but dishonest person as well.

Best Dentist. I came to him first time more than twenty years ago. I know many people who suffered from other doctors. They became friend because i told them my secret, this magic-doctor that made my teeth look so great. He treats my whole family and he is the best.

The worst dentist I have ever been to! He doesn’t explain a single thing or ask about history, nothing whatsoever. I left with more pain than I came in. The filling I got was so sloppy, my tongue keeps getting scratched from it. And temp. “root canal” he literally covered half of the tooth and left the other half as it was. I don’t even understand what I got done. Third day already, my mouth has a disgusting taste and smell from whatever he used as filling or in root canal? Worst dentist ever!!!

I had an infected root canal that was done by another dentist who suggested i wait until the following day to see me since his office was closing prior to my arrival. When I called Dr. Kanevsky, he stayed past his office hours and and re-did the root canal someone else messed up! he's the best! Never went back to another dentist after that visit! It's been almost 10 years now!
