It should have been negative or zero rating for Oakton Dental Center due to my bad experience here. I felt I was cheated. I had given them my new insurance to check how much I have to co-pay before they did cavity and other treatment For my son. After checking with my new insurance company United Healthcare, a finance accountant told me that I had to co-pay $850. Trusting them then I agreed to pay for the service. Some days later after The sons treatment, I came back there for my dental cleaning, I was shocked to learn from the accountant that I had to pay an extra $560 for my son's treatment and she inclined to push me to pay right away. I asked her why I had to co pay 560$ more why they already checked the insurance. she told me that she based on my previous insurance to quote and turned out it's the wrong number. This is rediculous because I had already given her my new insurance and told her to check based on that. I had a feeling that I was lied to.

Dr. Ahrabi was one of the most informative, genuine, and helpful dentists I've ever had. I went in for a chip in my front tooth (found this office by google reviews) and he explained the process from start to finish before we began. I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome and results and look forward to my next cleaning/visit! Cost was very reasonable/explained upfront, no surprise costs added on, so I'm not sure what the other review is referencing, and the front desk was extremely friendly both on the phone and when I first walked in.Truly could not recommend enough!

I recently changed to this dentist because my previous one was out of network. One thing you need to know before walking into this place is that they don't always disclose if there is an extra charge on products or service they provide. If you don't ask every single thing, you will need to pay whatever that comes to your bill. Even if sometimes, they will phrase it as "why don't you try something and see if you like it". I have to admit that I might have asked too much for the dentist to inform me there is an extra charge for whatever they recommended. So I just want to share with people who might have the same expectation as me, if you are looking for a trustworthy relationship, this place will not meet your expectation.

Extremely disappointed with this office. I visited this office back in 2018 when I was in severe pain, new to the area and needed urgent care desperately. I gave him my trust, my teeth, and my wallet. He dropped the ball on all aspects.
