Dr. Aalam Samsavar, DDS

I've been going to Aalam Samsavar for close to a decade and highly recommend him. He is personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. He does all cleanings himself, with one patient at a time in the office, which makes the whole experience pretty mellow. Though my office is no longer in Bellevue, I still make the trek to Dr. Samsavar's office from Seattle, as I really like him as a dentist.

Straight to the point. You look at reviews to find someone good to put your trust in. You've come to the right place. Like most people I've never been fond of going to the dentist but that changed when I started seeing Dr. Samasvar. He and his wife are kind, friendly, very accomplished, and fun to be with. My experiences have always been better than I had hoped for, by far. In my most recent visit he fixed a front tooth that had a chip in it on the bottom. I have no idea how it got that way. However, in about ten minutes he fixed it. It looks like it always did before. Same color, same feel. If you are looking for a dentist you can stop looking. You won't find a better one.

I am an old lady and have been to many dental offices over the years, both in WA and CA… But I have to confess Dr. Samsavar and his wife make a unique team you won’t find anywhere else. She keeps the office shining like a Korean Spa and she does magic with out of network insurance billing. Dr. Samsavar is not only a skilled clinician, he is an artist and a genius when it comes to inventing and creating pieces that can fit your oral architecture. And what I say applies to the routine crowns etc…, not just his unique patented Venetian veneers. Overall, it’s an experience. It’s the Canlis of dental offices! Worth every dime!!!

Dr. Samsavar and Laila are the "Dream Team"! They made me feel welcome and cared for. I'm usually incredibly afraid of going to the dentist but Dr. Samsavar is so gentle that I actually fell asleep during the procedure! I highly recommend this practice!

I came to Dr. Samsavar’s office for a consultation first. Immediately, I felt surrounded by a family. We went through what was bothering me, what i was looking for to fix, and I even left with a mock-up the same day. And then, just like that, within two weeks, i had my smilie fixed! What impressed me the most besides the customer service i received, was how tailored Dr. Samsavar’s work was towards my needs and personality. Now, that I can smile without being self-conscious, I can’t stop being grateful for Dr. Samsavar and Laleh’s work. I’m so looking forward to coming back to them for regular check-ins in the future!

After many years of putting off much needed dental work because of anxiety and past dental trauma, pain forced me to take the leap back into the dentist's chair. I am honestly relieved and so grateful for the kind, gentle and understanding care that I received with Aalam Samsavar. It was like a spa experience instead of what I generally see as a torture-fest. Laleh even held my hand when I was getting a bit jittery with the numbing portion and checking in often to make sure I was ok. I even was able to watch a show on Netflix with glasses and earphones that cut out the sound of the drilling, a weighted blanket and an overall fantastic experience. I have two more appointments to go because I let my teeth go for too long without proper care but I am no longer nervous about it which is rather miraculous. Highly recommended!

I was excited to walk in simply after one conversation with his lovely wife, Dr. Laleh, over the phone. They are a power team, who take care of their patients. They have become family to me. My teeth have never looked better and more whiter than now. I am looking for a reason to go back to his office. What I adore most is his approach. He only takes in one patient at a time, and gives you his undivided attention. It feels like a dental spa. Very relaxing. The look and atmosphere of the dentistry is enticing and draws you in. I have been a patient of Dr. Samsavar for nearly 20 years. This particular visit was so different and I need to share it. Covid-19 has caused so much uncertainty and fear however, Dr. Samsavar kept all his patients informed throughout the different stages of the pandemic on text and through email. His response to his patients was immediate and he provided consistent updated safety and regulatory information which helped my family navigate through this. Communication and safety is a priority to Dr. Samsavar and I appreciated knowing that if I had a dental emergency, he was there for me. On June 8th 2020, he made arrangements for my family to schedule appointments together back to back. The health and well-being of his patients is his #1 concern and I have gained a greater appreciation for Dr. Samsavar and his wife Dr. Laleh Samsavar. Not only do I have an incredible smile, I have the best cosmetic dentist in America.

Dr. Samsavar and his wife Laleh are so wonderful. I absolutely love them. They are very special people! They changed my life for the better. I've hated my teeth since I was a kid. From the second my baby teeth fell out and my adult teeth came in, I was always so embarrassed of my smile. They were crooked and my parents couldn't afford to fix them. When I turned 20, I had another dentist put some bonding over my teeth to give the illusion that they were straight. It helped with my confidence for a time, but soon it became very yellow and started chipping. I felt so lost. I just knew that I wanted and needed veneers. I'm about to be 28 in a couple of weeks. I've wanted this for what seems like my whole life. I get super emotional when I talk about it. I finally got my beautiful smile! I'm very happy that I found someone as patient, honest, and talented as Dr. Samsavar to perform this procedure!

Whether for dental care, cosmetic purposes, or even a simple consultation...expect professionalism at its best while feeling immediately like family with their ability to remain casual enough to keep the atmosphere comfortable. Dr. Samsavar will carefully listen to your needs, questions, or concerns without bias. He will likely give admonishments using his wisdom before any procedures/proceedings. I am thrilled with Dr. Samavar, and all aspects of his practice. Visits to the dentist have been challenging since I was young, and as a result have had a tendency to neglect my dental care. For the first time in years I am looking forward to my next visit and have already returned within a week.
